How to care our products

The cotton used for the clothing, is grown and weaved in Myanmar (Burma). With the modern designer and dress makers, we created women clothing such as dresses, tops, skirts, pants and shawl from cotton cloths which are mainly used for traditional attire (Longi and Eingi). 

As most of our clothes are 100% cotton, please see below for caring instruction.

Washing 

• Items must be hand-washed with similar color in cold water to prevent shrinking and fading.
• Avoid fabric softeners.
• They can be dry cleanable. 

Drying

• Items must be air-dried with natural sunlight. 
• High heats can cause cotton fibers to shrink.

Ironing

• Items can be iron with high heat with slightly damp fabric.
• Item can be steamed. 
• Note that ironing can be avoided by air drying.

As some of the items are hand dyed, some color may come off at first few washings however color fading will not happen if care instruction above is followed.

For the handprint items, the color and design of the prints may differ items to items as they are individually made.

Most of our accessories are handmade or weaved by individuals and we may not be able to reproduce exactly what is already made. We strive to achieve the modern design as well as maintaining the Burmese traditions.
